Originally born on the island of Jamaica, Netrit Nu Akhu migrated to the US to live with her family over 25 years ago. Like many diasporan, her assumptions about residing overseas were very misconstrued. After living in the states for many years, Netrit started her own family once finally assimilated in the US as a citizen. With many life challenges as a mother and soldier in the military, her outlook on life changed drastically. The call back to nature and living the holistic lifestyle screamed loudly.  This call manifested as a very rude spiritual awakening that impacted her life tremendously. This profound experience affected how she cared for people, especially the ones closest to her heart. When certain health issues arose, she felt propelled to focus her energies on the sacred practice of self-healing. In hopes of learning more about topics such as herbalism and learning how to plant and grow her own food to feed her family, she realized the passion to teach others the same was growing.  Prior to getting her certification as a qigong instructor, the ancestors brought the knowledge of RA Qigong and the Kemetic lifestyle through her confidant Aungkhtu NeteRa from the Ausar Auset society. This knowledge was the gateway to a healthier way of life.
